Ming's Table at Harrah's Casino
The Friedmutter group of Las Vegas NV, contacted Graphic Encounter to help put the finishing touches on their design, transforming Harrah's restaurant Asia into it's new representation as Ming's table. Graphic Encounter's gifted team of art consultants knew just where to go to find art to complement the new modern décor. Utilizing the talents of artists Joan Lok and Sophie Thouvenin, Graphic encounter commissioned pieces that would be unique to Ming's table. Sophie's floral photography harmonized with Joan's Asian peony triptych. As a final touch a calligraphy piece, meaning gold and jade fills the hall, was created by Joan Lok and blown up to 3' x 9'. Wood moulding was then chosen to accentuate each piece and add to its unique character. Production went smoothly and Graphic Encounter was able to box and package in such a way to ensure the safe delivery of the original artwork within the specified time of delivery. Harrah's and Friedmutter were pleased with the results and enjoyed working with a company that helped them realize their design vision, ensure smooth and efficient project management and delivered the highest quality products on time within a budget. |
