IIDA is a professional networking and educational association of more than 10,000 Members in 9 Regions and more than 30 Chapters around the world, committed to enhancing the quality of life through excellence in interior design and advancing interior design through knowledge. IIDA was founded in 1994 with the goal of creating an international association that would represent interior designers worldwide. Since that date, IIDA has worked to convene communities of interior designers across regions and specialties representing the interests for the entire community.
IIDA is a valuable tool to provide it members with the sources to reach expertise, knowledge and contacts. IIDA promotes various networking events as an additional venue for its professionals to meet, form relationships and encourage their continued success.

NEWH is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 in Los Angeles by a group of women who shared a common bond in their work. They came from the fields of design, FF&E, manufacturing and distributing, and were interested in promoting the successes of women in the industry. The original goal of networking and mentoring has continued through the years and expanded to include the awarding of a yearly scholarship to a young women studying to enter the industry.
NEWH has expanded since it's inception to include over 1000 members nationwide. NEWH has also expanded their offerings to include a nationwide job forum, national membership directory and NEWH newsletter, along with sponsorship of leading industry expositions and conferences.
